About Us

Mike’s grandfather and father were both builders and nurtured that interest in Mike. He headed to Ball State University in Indiana and completed his B.S. in Environmental Design, majoring in Architecture. At Ball State, Mike’s design team, lead by Mike, was the first to use computer aided design to document one of the historic homes near campus. Today, all of our design is done on the computer. 3-D modeling is available. Mike has now been in design and construction for over 25 years. It was 1999 when Wade Design & Construction Inc. was launched.

Kristin’s degree from the University of WI-Milwaukee in communications assists her at Wade Design as she handles operational aspects of the business in addition to expediting, scheduling and marketing.

Today, the company is a leading provider of design/build remodeling in southeastern Wisconsin. Wade Design is an active participant in the Metropolitan Builders Association, National Association of the Remodeling Industry, National Kitchen and Bath Association, and Mike represents the 7th district of the City of Mequon on the city's Architectural Review Board.

Our Process

Wade Design is focused on what really matters to the customer. Understanding what they like and don't like about their house is critical to designing their space so it will interact with them and feel more like a home. Everything, including the budget is customized to how people want to live. From the initial meeting to the final punch list your ideas and desires will be handled by one person.

Wade Design views a home as a special place or sanctuary for the homeowner. Placement of windows, flooring materials, built-in furniture and size and dimensions of rooms all play a part in meeting a client's personal needs. We are not confined by the walls, we have the expertise to redesign your home to best fit your everyday needs.

The initial meeting allows you to meet the person that you will work with throughout the process. During this meeting you can collaborate on design ideas, needs and desires for your home. After the initial meeting a preliminary design and contract with concrete pricing based on that design will be drawn up and presented at the second meeting.

Remodeling from day one

All of our experience is in remodeling. The challenges and rewards of remodeling are what we do best and enjoy most. Your project, no matter how small, is what we do everyday and what we will be doing tomorrow. We currently are offering a two year warranty on our work. Once your project is complete, we are always available for any adjustments and questions that may arise.
